Cracking service! Luke cut down some small trees/bushes and ground several stumps on our property in Jamberoo. I contacted Luke on New Years Day, requesting a quote for stump grinding a Norfolk Island Pine tree and two other smaller stumps in our front yard in Dapto. The Norfolk Island pine stump stretched just under a metre wide and had extensive roots all over the front yard, including large roots enclosing the water metre. Luke was prompt and professional, fitting us in 2 days after initial contact. Luke was clear about what he could do, providing reassurance and guidance on what to do regarding the large roots encasing the water metre. I had a tree stump which I'd found to be too large to dig out - just 1. A phone call to Luke who was available to come and grind it. Luke came at the time we'd arranged; very polite. Luke indicated the space he'd need and was careful not to damage other plants. He had the right equipment and had the stump removed completely. Price was very reasonable.The area was left clean and tidy. Superb!!

Where I had to chase up quotes from some other businesses, Luke was prompt with his quote and it was highly competitive. He was very clear in what the quote included, and what were the trickier parts of the job. He was considerate of our tenants when doing the job, cleaning up after himself and returning the yard to how it was, even replacing all the sandstone rocks that bordered the garden to their original position. There was no dirt splatter all over the fences etc. as he used protective sheets of ply throughout the job. I was very happy with Southside Stump Grinding.

Luke did a great job cutting through a stump and large roots to let me install a stormwater pipe at our place in Koonawarra. His hand held machine got through the tight access and was able to cut down to the 600mm depth of the trench. Luke dug out the chip to make sure he’d got everything down to the right depth before he left. He let me know when he’d arrive for both the quote and the job and was here when he said he would be. An excellent job and a great bloke. Highly recommended.

I previously had trees cut down, but I left the stumps in the ground. I contacted Luke one afternoon, the next day he had time to complete the work. Luke did an amazing job on removing the stumps, the level of service was higher than what I was expecting. Last week Luke attended my mums property to remove 4 tree stumps that were considered a pool compliance issues. 2 of the 4 stumps were in a tricky spot in a pool retaining wall. This was no problem for Luke and he successfully got them out. Luke also helped us set up a tarp over the pool to protect it and then he went above and beyond getting the area cleaned up.

I contacted Southside Stump Grinding via their web page for a quote. Luke contacted me back within one hour and came to the job site that afternoon and gave me a quote. The job was at a block of units where we were told by another company that due to the tight access the stumps could not be ground down. Luke has the equipment to access tight spots and did a fantastic job. he communicated with me throughout the entire process. Great job done, left the site neat and tidy and a very reasonable price. I called Luke to get a quote on a tree that was in a precarious position due to the recent floods and grind a tree stump. Unfortunately the tree was a bit too big but he was able to suggest another company to do the job and organise a quick quote. He was able to grind the stump down for us. He was very easy going and most importantly reliable, turned up on time and carried out the work to our expectations. Purchasing an old dose upper house at the end of 2022, we had been stumped (pun intended) for ages on how to remove the tree stumps left by the 4 cut down trees in our yard. Luke made easy work of the big stumps and grinder them 20cm below the ground and filled the holes up and cleaned up too! I am keeping Luke in my contacts as my to go to stump grinding guy 10/10

We're in South Cronulla. We had long line of feral bamboo that ran along the side of the boundary fence in the back yard for 15 metres. The bamboo was sitting on top of a concrete footing right up against the fence. Luke was able to stump grind nearly all of the bamboo right to the concrete and into some tight spaces. Luke was on time, he explained every step of the process and left minimal mess. The price was super competitive to other quotes we received. Luke was a pro.

Excellent service, price and professionalism! We needed to get 3 established bamboo trees removed and I found Southside Stump Grinding online. Luke responded to my message straight away, and after sending some photos, he promptly provided a quote which we accepted. Great experience getting about 12 big yucca stumps removed in Balgownie. Luke stopped by right after we contacted to check out the job and came soon after we told him it was time. Left the site near and tidy and was able to do it all above the sewer line where the yuccas were. Would recommend and use again.

Luke came at short notice to complete a stump removal and grinding. He turned up, looked, listened and came up with a good plan. His equipment was well maintained, had good safety standards and was very effective. The job was completed fairly quickly, but most importantly, to a high standard. Cleanup done, waste organised and some helpful advice. Luke was organised, efficient and helpful. Get him again for any of this type of work.

I called Luke and he offered to help straight away, I sent him photos for him to assessing what I’d need done in Vincentia, and we worked it out from there.. he showed up on time literally the next business day, and had most of the job done before I got there.. he removed around 14 yucca and palm stumps and 3 large clumps of bamboo; the worst kind. He did a good tidy up of the work are as he had said he would be able to. I dealt with the greenwaste, because it was finally manageable!
