Contacted Luke in the morning said hewould have a look after lunch turned up about 3 and 1 hour later 3 stumps gone cleaned up and was gone I was happy with the cost

Beginning to end, Luke's service was awesome. Got in touch to have some bamboo removed and Luke swung by and provided a quote on the same day. A week later we got the job done, once again Luke was quick and efficient and was prompt with his communication in relation to the job. Even gave me a call following completion of the job with some extra post bamboo removal tips. Highly recommend!

Luke is extremely efficient at his work. Very friendly chap who gets straight into the work and leaves the place tidy. Had 6 stumps demolished today and they went like a breeze. One stump was over 5feet tall and quite thick. After the chainsaw removed several feet, the stump-grinder finished it off quick-smart. Very reasonably priced too. Thankyou.

I live in Balgownie and needed a tree stump removed. I found Southside Stump Grinding's contact details on a Poster near our house so I rang for a quote. Luke was very friendly and responded the same day for a quote. His pricing was very good and gave me a time in the next week to come and remove it. He rang when he said he would on the day and he came and removed the stump. He cleaned up after himself and left the garden looking very nice. He did a fantastic job and said he woukd come back if anything needed to be done that i didnt like. I highly recommend Luke's services.

I contacted Luke on New Years Day, requesting a quote for stump grinding a Norfolk Island Pine tree and two other smaller stumps in our front yard in Dapto. The Norfolk Island pine stump stretched just under a metre wide and had extensive roots all over the front yard, including large roots enclosing the water metre. Luke was prompt and professional, fitting us in 2 days after initial contact. Luke was clear about what he could do, providing reassurance and guidance on what to do regarding the large roots encasing the water metre. I had a tree stump which I'd found to be too large to dig out - just 1. A phone call to Luke who was available to come and grind it. Luke came at the time we'd arranged; very polite. I highly recommend Luke from Southside Stump Grinding. (First seven photos are before, last six photos are after). Where I had to chase up quotes from some other businesses, Luke was prompt with his quote and it was highly competitive. He was very clear in what the quote included, and what were the trickier parts of the job. He was considerate of our tenants when doing the job, cleaning up after himself and returning the yard to how it was, even replacing all the sandstone rocks that bordered the garden to their original position. There was no dirt splatter all over the fences etc. as he used protective sheets of ply throughout the job. I was very happy with Southside Stump Grinding.

Luke did a great job cutting through a stump and large roots to let me install a stormwater pipe at our place in Koonawarra. His hand held machine got through the tight access and was able to cut down to the 600mm depth of the trench. Luke dug out the chip to make sure he’d got everything down to the right depth before he left. He let me know when he’d arrive for both the quote and the job and was here when he said he would be. Last week Luke attended my mums property to remove 4 tree stumps that were considered a pool compliance issues. 2 of the 4 stumps were in a tricky spot in a pool retaining wall. This was no problem for Luke and he successfully got them out. Luke also helped us set up a tarp over the pool to protect it and then he went above and beyond getting the area cleaned up.

In the middle of renovations in Gerringong and had a pretty big lillipilli that needed to go before landscaping and retaining walls could start. Rang and spoke to Luke - great attitude and booked my job in after id semt a photo - luke turned up within 2 days and did a fantastic job - theres no sign the tree was ever there! I highly recommend Luke and his service - really good bloke and does a great job.

After a couple of unsuccessful attempts to get some work done to grind bamboo here in Kiama I found Southside Stump Grinding. Luke was great from the first conversation. Quick response to my initial inquiry and every message after that. Reasonable rates and very accommodating to schedule changes due to unforeseen circumstances. Luke arrived on time and was pleasant, knowledgeable and respectful. He discussed the job and outcomes clearly and succinctly with my wife and I. I contacted Luke on Sunday after seeing his signs around. He was able to come out to Windang on Tuesday to assess and do the job. He was punctual, professional and fast. I had 6 substantial trees approved for removal. Made contact with Southside and within 2 days I received a detailed quote from Luke. His professional yet friendly manner made dealing with him so easy. On day of the booking, the Southside team were on time and finished the job in good pace. Best part was that the site was completed exactly as quoted and site left clean! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone to use this great team!

Highly recommend Luke he is prompt, professional, tidy and a genuine good person. Purchasing an old dose upper house at the end of 2022, we had been stumped (pun intended) for ages on how to remove the tree stumps left by the 4 cut down trees in our yard. Luke made easy work of the big stumps and grinder them 20cm below the ground and filled the holes up and cleaned up too! I am keeping Luke in my contacts as my to go to stump grinding guy 10/10

We're in South Cronulla. We had long line of feral bamboo that ran along the side of the boundary fence in the back yard for 15 metres. The bamboo was sitting on top of a concrete footing right up against the fence. Luke was able to stump grind nearly all of the bamboo right to the concrete and into some tight spaces. Luke was on time, he explained every step of the process and left minimal mess. The price was super competitive to other quotes we received. Luke was a pro.

Luke responded to my message straight away, and after sending some photos, he promptly provided a quote which we accepted. Great experience getting about 12 big yucca stumps removed in Balgownie. Luke stopped by right after we contacted to check out the job and came soon after we told him it was time. Left the site near and tidy and was able to do it all above the sewer line where the yuccas were. Would recommend and use again.

Luke came at short notice to complete a stump removal and grinding. He turned up, looked, listened and came up with a good plan. His equipment was well maintained, had good safety standards and was very effective. The job was completed fairly quickly, but most importantly, to a high standard. Cleanup done, waste organised and some helpful advice. Luke was organised, efficient and helpful. Get him again for any of this type of work.

We live in the northern Illawarra and our beloved jacaranda came down in the last winds. Southside Stump Grinding came to remove the stump and they were amazing. I called Luke and he offered to help straight away, I sent him photos for him to assessing what I’d need done in Vincentia, and we worked it out from there.. he showed up on time literally the next business day, and had most of the job done before I got there.. he removed around 14 yucca and palm stumps and 3 large clumps of bamboo; the worst kind. He did a good tidy up of the work are as he had said he would be able to. I dealt with the greenwaste, because it was finally manageable!
